Our story

Buying and selling property in an easy way

ProperLand opened in 1982 with two desks above a hardware shop. Four decades later the model is the same, just larger: agents who work one patch, know its roads and stay on your file from the first valuation to the day the keys move.

We do not run a call centre and we do not hand your sale between departments. If your agent is out at a viewing, they call you back — nobody else picks up your file.

Our main focus

Three stages, run in order, on every instruction we take.

Planning stage

An agent visits, measures and prices against comparable sales from the last six months. You get a written range with the comparables attached before anything goes live.
Development

Photography, floor plan and listing copy are produced in one visit and live within 72 hours. Viewings are grouped so you are not opening your door every evening.
New way of living

Offers are checked for proof of funds, mortgage agreement in principle and chain position before they reach you. Your agent then runs the timeline through to exchange and completion.
